You will need: circle of red wool felt for the top that is approx. 2 1/2 inches, approx. 1 1/4 inch circle of cream color for the underside, approx. 1 inch by 3 inch piece of pink felt to roll for stem, 1/2 inch x 3 inch piece of green cut like grass.
Roll stem and sew so it cannot unroll. Wrap grass around the bottom of the stem and tack on with green thread. Do a gathering stitch around the red circle. Pull gathers so that it makes a little pouch and add fiber fill. Leave opening at the bottom of the top circle slighly smaller that the cream color circle. Attach cream circle. Attach stem. Do a few French Knots on the top. You are done!
